TRAINING AND GESEA CERTIFICATION SESSION

On January 14th, 2026, the GESEA Training Center at Federico II University in Naples welcomed a delegation of physicians from India for a dedicated training and Level 1 certification session in Gynaecological Endoscopy.

This event marked not only the first international certification group of the year, but also reinforced the global vocation of our center, which has long been a hub of excellence for minimally invasive gynaecological surgery training in Europe.

Under the guidance of expert tutors and coordinators, the participants completed both the theoretical and hands-on assessments, successfully achieving their GESEA Level 1 Diploma. The session was conducted with the rigor, warmth, and professionalism that characterize the GESEA programme, combining high-standard simulation-based learning with practical insights into endoscopic techniques.

For many of these international trainees, this journey to Naples was more than a certification—it was the beginning of a deeper professional commitment to structured surgical education and the European standards of competence.

A Bridge Between Continents

The GESEA programme continues to attract young specialists and medical graduates from all over the world, confirming the Federico II center’s mission as a training landmark in the Mediterranean area. Hosting foreign delegations is part of a broader effort to foster international cooperation in the advancement of gynaecological endoscopy.
