On 18 September 2026, the GESEA Training Center at the University of Naples Federico II welcomed ten physicians for a special GESEA Level 1 Certification session, marking another important day dedicated to education, skills assessment and professional growth in gynaecological endoscopy.
The session was made possible thanks to the educational support of Dico Farm, whose sponsorship initiative gave ten doctors the opportunity to participate in the GESEA certification pathway and achieve their Level 1 Certificate.
It was a valuable example of how collaboration between medical education, academic institutions and industry can help create concrete opportunities for the professional development of physicians.
Ten Doctors, One Important Step Forward
Achieving the GESEA Level 1 Certificate represents an important milestone for doctors approaching the structured pathway in gynaecological endoscopy.
The GESEA programme, developed by the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE), is based on a progressive educational model combining theoretical knowledge with the objective assessment of practical skills.
For the ten physicians who participated in the September session, the day therefore represented much more than a certification examination.
It was an opportunity to test their preparation, demonstrate the skills acquired during training and take an important first step within an internationally recognised educational pathway.
The Value of Supporting Medical Education
High-quality surgical education requires time, expertise, facilities and access to structured training opportunities.
Initiatives such as the one supported by Dico Farm can play an important role in making these opportunities accessible to young doctors and specialists who want to invest in their professional development.
By supporting the participation of ten physicians in the GESEA Level 1 certification session, Dico Farm contributed directly to an educational initiative focused on competence, training and the continuous improvement of standards in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery.
It is a form of support that ultimately invests in people: in their knowledge, their technical preparation and their future professional growth.
A Day of Training, Assessment and Collaboration
The certification session involved the entire team of the GESEA Training Center at AOU Federico II of Naples, who accompanied the participants throughout the different stages of the day.
A special role was played by Dr. Francesco Improda, GESEA tutor, who supported the candidates during the training and certification process together with the faculty and staff of the Center.
The atmosphere of collaboration and commitment made the September session a particularly rewarding experience, bringing together ten physicians with a common objective: to improve their skills and progress along the GESEA educational pathway.
The Beginning of the GESEA Journey
Level 1 is not the end of a training process. It is the beginning.
The philosophy of GESEA is based on progressive education, objective assessment and continuous improvement. Each level is designed to accompany physicians as they develop the knowledge, psychomotor abilities and surgical competencies required for increasingly advanced practice.
For the ten newly certified physicians, 18 September 2026 therefore represents the first important milestone in a much longer journey.
A journey built on training, practice, assessment and a constant commitment to excellence.
Congratulations to Our New GESEA Level 1 Certificate Holders
The GESEA Training Center of the University of Naples Federico II congratulates all ten physicians who successfully achieved their Level 1 certification and thanks everyone who contributed to making the session possible.
Our sincere thanks also go to Dico Farm for supporting this educational initiative and investing in the professional development of the participating physicians.
Supporting education means supporting the future of surgery.
And every new competence acquired today can contribute to better and safer patient care tomorrow.
