This is the mission of the GESEA Programme (Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgical Education and Assessment)<\/b><\/span>: to guide surgeons from foundational knowledge to surgical competence through a progressive, internationally recognised training path.<\/p>

Why GESEA?<\/b><\/h4>

Endoscopic surgery demands more than theoretical knowledge. It requires a blend of psychomotor skills<\/b><\/span> and surgical expertise<\/b><\/span>. At GESEA, we believe that psychomotor training must come first<\/b><\/span> \u2014 in a safe and controlled environment \u2014 before entering the operating room. This:<\/p>

  • Enhances <\/span>educational efficiency<\/b><\/b><\/p><\/li>

    The Structure of the GESEA Programme<\/b><\/h4>

    The GESEA Educational Programme consists of three progressive levels<\/b><\/span>, with optional specialisations in robotics and advanced surgery.<\/p>

    \ud83d\udd39 Level 1 \u2013 Psychomotor Skills Assessment Certificate<\/b><\/h5>

    This is the universal entry gate to the GESEA pathway. Candidates train and are evaluated in:<\/p>

    • Laparoscopy (LASTT)<\/p><\/li>

    • Laparoscopic suturing (SUTT)<\/p><\/li>

    • Hysteroscopy (HYSTT)<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

      Theoretical knowledge is acquired through the ESGE Academy<\/b><\/span> and tested with online quizzes<\/b><\/span>.<\/p>

      \ud83d\udd39 Level 2 \u2013 Surgical Skills Assessment Diploma<\/b><\/h5>

      After completing Level 1, candidates move into one of two core pathways:<\/p>

      • GESEA MIGS<\/b><\/span> \u2192 Become a Minimally Invasive Gynaecological Surgeon<\/p><\/li>

      • GESEA ECRES<\/b><\/span> \u2192 Become a Reproductive Endoscopic Surgeon<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

        Each pathway includes both shared and specific training modules. An optional GESEA Robotics Certificate<\/b><\/span> is also available at this stage.<\/p>

        \ud83d\udd39 Expert Level \u2013 Advanced Surgical Competence<\/b><\/p>

        For surgeons seeking subspecialised excellence, the GESEA programme offers Expert Diplomas<\/b><\/span> in:<\/p>

        • Neuropelveology<\/p><\/li>
